John Milton 400 round-up

This Tuesday (9Dec) sees the 400th anniversary of Milton’s birth. Here’s a round-up of Milton-related talks, exhibitions, podcasts etc., that I’ve found on the web.

Christ’s Cambridge is offering podcasts from Prof Quentin Skinner on Milton and Liberty and from Dr. Colin Burrow on the singularity of Milton here.

Over here you can find a series of links to Milton-related exhibitions (some of which have now closed.)

BBC 3 is going absolutely nuts for Milton over the next week or so. You can find a list of programming here. Talks from David Norbrook, Sharon Achinstein, Annabel Patterson and, unfortunately, Tom Paulin scheduled.

A gallery of images from a recent New York Public Library exhibition over here.

Grauniad mini-site on Milton here.

And finally, talks by Nigel Smith and Stephen Fallon on Milton on ABC radio, Australia here.

More than enough Milton for anyone, I would think. Too much for me, at any rate.
